Often, I am trying to be God instead of being with God. The gifts that God brings can be so far beyond my day-to-day eyesight, I can sometimes forget. Yet a great gift is having an inner eyesight, imperfect all the same, but one that lets me see in a different way. In there, I have no questions, we just are. Alas, day-to-day seems stronger than inner eyesight. I guess we are still wandering in that desert, challeneging God for taking us out of comfort (slavery).
